The opportunity
Our Transaction Strategy and Execution provides a full range of operationally focused services including M&A Integration, Carve-out, Operational, HR and IT Due Diligence, Commercial Due Diligence, Synergy and Day one readiness assessment, and operational restructuring. Transaction Strategy and Execution works with cross-functional teams made up of members of both the acquiring and acquired organizations.
Your key responsibilities
You will provide companies and clients for professional transaction experience, from the strategic analysis phase of the transaction lifecycle, through execution, to transaction integration. We provide clients with a single point of contact, help clients determine the right deal to do and assist them in doing the deal right.
Skills and attributes for success
• Lead client engagement teams executing Transaction Strategy and Execution, focusing on Finance and/or Operational and/or HR and/or IT, which support key decision makers in developing and executing their transaction strategy to secure deal value.
• Demonstrate advanced knowledge of all phases and aspects of methodology across integrations, carve-outs, operational due diligence and other types of transaction engagements.
• Responsible for assessing the client's state of readiness with respect to people, resources, planning, data collection and strategy, identifying high-risk areas, unidentified issues and areas for overall improvement.
• Lead commercial due diligence projects, including market assessments, competitor studies and opportunity assessments.
• Demonstrate ability to not only identify risks and issues, but also recommend resolutions.
• Lead business development activities to sell work through development of internal and external client relationship networks.
• Deliver a high degree of client satisfaction with the engagement process and work products sufficient to drive additional and repeated engagements.
• Successfully supervise, coach, and mentor all levels of staff.
• Provide engagement team leadershi p in fostering an open and inclusive environment and effectively lead and motivate teams with diverse skills and backgrounds.
