Job Summary:

Talent Shared Services (TSS) is a core service line within the Global Delivery Services organization, providing multiple HR support services including Recruitment support, Onboarding support, People Data Administration, Learning Administration, Cross Border Travel, Global Mobility and Performance Management support to EY member firms. TSS provides services to country, sub-area, area and global people teams and other EY stakeholders involved in HR, L&D and recruiting transactions and associated administration, reporting and people infrastructure. These services are delivered from our centres in Kerala and Bangalore, India; Wroclaw, Poland; and Manila, Philippines. TSS team delivers consistent, high-quality and operationally efficient HR transactional services to EY through a globally efficient and effective network of GDS centres.  

 

Virtual Talent Hub (VTH) for the respective function is an integral part of TS service offerings where the extended delivery model is used along with high-quality skills and competencies delivered virtually. This is across service lines and regions – delivering non-repetitive project-based work through skilled, agile teams. The team in the virtual hub is an extension of the regional talent teams and will cover operational/non-transnational scope.


Talent Operations VTH supports a specific Area/Region and acts as part of the extended Area/Region team.


VTH works in a fully integrated way with onshore colleagues participating in meetings, projects and planning activities as part of one team. The Team supports the region in performing operational and administrative tasks to allow the onshore team to focus on consultative and strategic activities based on the priorities of the Area/Region. 

 

This role will be dedicated to enabling the Asia-Pacific FSO region and Service Lines to make strategic and informed decisions on Talent-related matters. Specifically, to use analytical and problem-solving skills to deliver insights across a range of domains, such as - workforce planning, DE&I gender parity, exceptional experience. These work products will be in the form of monthly or bespoke reports and presentation materials.

 

A second important component to this role is to provide support to key Talent processes, such as career development through PEDD promotions and succession planning, recognition programs, pay equity and other areas as required. This will involve leading and supporting in these projects, working closely with Asia-Pacific FSO regional stakeholders, and completing supporting analysis and sharing insights.

 

The role will also consider continuous improvement opportunities and ways to drive efficiencies across processes and reports produced.

Essential Functions of the Job:

Responsibilities:

•    Reporting:  
     o    Production of regular reporting requirements on headcount, turnover, exit interviews, diversity and inclusion, mobility, People Pulse, LEAD and other talent metrics. Provide analysis and insights for presentation to leaders.
     o    Production of bespoke reporting on requests, such as comparing diversity and inclusion metrics to the targets and completion rates for key learning and development courses.

•    Talent Project Support:
     o    Support PEDD promotion process
              Prepare reports and candidate data for leadership reviews
              Management of candidate interview tracker
     o    Support the year-end and annual compensation review processes including, but not limited to:
              Leadership Review Workbook (LRW) mapping
              Data validation and cross-checking of relevant workbooks such as promotion lists, payroll upload files and consolidation workbooks
              Review and analysis of historical LEAD category data for leadership review meetings, including presenting different cuts of the data in PowerPoint
     o    Support in Succession planning for the Area:
              Management of the Succession planning database
     o    Support end-to-end delivery of Recognition program for the region
              Review and distribute SL nominations for each cycle
              Prepare and distribute communications to key stakeholders including SL Talent Consultants, award nominees and winners
              Coordinate with local Finance and BMC teams to facilitate awards
     o    Support annual pay equity analysis
              Liaise with stakeholders on the annual process to communicate data requests and timelines 
              Prepare comparative analysis of pay equity data
              Share presentation results and regional insights
     o    Lead continuous improvement ideas and initiatives 

•    General Administration:  
     o    Support ad hoc Talent processes unique to the APAC FSO.

 

Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

•    Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, proficient in data visualisation tools such as Power BI advantageous.
•    Strong data analytics skills with a focus on integrating large quantities of data from different source systems. Ability to critically evaluate data results to ensure they are reliable and accurate, which requires a strong attention to detail
•    Ability to consistently apply a continuous improvement mindset to existing processes and unlock efficiencies across the regional team, for example, adopting automation, Artificial Intelligence will be an advantage
•    Highly responsive and ability to collaborate across regional stakeholders, in a clear and concise way in both written and verbal formats.
•    Ability to proactively manage and prioritise multiple tasks to meet stakeholder needs.
•    A self-starter who can be successful operating in a virtual team environment, working with limited supervision.
•    Background knowledge to EY People systems highly advantageous.

 

Job Requirements:

Education:

•    Bachelor’s degree, preference for data science or related specialisation.

 

Experience:

•    Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in analytics, operations and support roles.
•    Demonstrated experience working with different stakeholders with competing needs.
•    Working in international and diverse environments.
