The opportunity

The GDS Markets team specializes in account management activities, supporting pursuits and go-to-market projects, and providing operational support to the Global Markets organization. We are a 400+ strong team, spread across GDS Kochi, Trivandrum, Bangalore, Gurgaon, Manila and Wroclaw Centers. Your primary function as a Virtual Account Manager will include Global Account Management, Marketing and Sales Management, and Financial Management & Reporting.

Your key responsibilities

As a Virtual Account Manager, you will be managing multiple accounts while working closely with Account Partners and a global network of Account teams to achieve targeted revenue, margin, and sales pipeline. You will need to develop a deep understanding of clients’ business goals and EY services to co-develop an account strategy for new business or current business expansion. This would include management of account key initiatives around EY’s Account Management Framework (AMF); growth strategy and plan execution. You will build and manage account documentation (i.e. MSA, Rate Card, SOW templates, onboarding documents, team process documents, etc.) and guide team on access and usage. You will also monitor key account operational metrics, build reporting and interpret all financial data of your respective account/s to generate value-adding insights.

Responsibilities, Qualifications, Certifications

To qualify for the role you must have

  • 8-10 years of work experience in end-to-end account management
  • Willingness to work on night shift to work with counterparts, stakeholders, and clients in the US
  • Willingness to work at McKinley West, Taguig City
  • Deep knowledge in Account Management processes and tools, with experience operating and executing projects in as a lead or a team member
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications – Word, Excel, Powerpoint

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Bachelor’s degree in commercial/business related disciplines
  • Proficiency in financial reporting tools and practical experience supporting financial management activities and data analysis
  • Experience using project management and procurement portals (SAP Fieldglass or Ariba)
  • Understanding and experience using Business Intelligence tools and CRM tools
