The opportunity
The Solutions Activation Manager drives the activities required to develop and deploy a US priority Fields of Play, Solution or BD across market segments and accounts.

 

Proactively drive analysis, strategic input and Project Management Office (PMO) expertise for leadership to ensure the strategic objectives and plans are delivered. Through close collaboration with BMC, tailor Go-to-Market Activation assets to meet Americas needs. When required support short-term campaigns to accelerate the go-to-market activity for a business priority.

 

Your key responsibilities
•    Activation and PMO of Solution GTM priorities:
          o    Work with SL leadership, Market Segment Boards and Fields of Play leadership to develop and deploy Field of Play, Solution or Alliance GTM strategy across market segments and accounts. 
          o    Develop, deploy and project manage client centric customisable content which supports activation through Sectors and Accounts (e.g. solution presentation decks, talk tracks, Q&A etc.) 
          o    Join client meetings to test and learn market messages and build personal credibility.
          o    Facilitate strategic discussions with Account teams and Market Segment Boards to determine the ideal solutions for the accounts and market segment.     
          o    Work closely with the Solutions team and BMC to learn from and tailor global Go-to-Market Activation assets to meet Americas /priority sector needs. 
          o    Work with Solution Activation team to create joint EY – BD briefing sessions on key sector solutions. 
•    Tailor Go-to-market assets:
          o    Implement local and global best practices, process consistency and synergies for Go-to-Market Activation in the region. 
          o    Garner client feedback (support conversations with clients) and escalate client needs to inform deployment plans. 
          o    Co-develop needed customization of thought leadership and materials. 
          o    Drive market sectors to focus on the high-value solutions in alignment with the MSL's sector priorities and align target accounts.
•    Campaign leadership and self-service:
          o    Support Go-to-market campaigns for markets priorities including working with the Solution or BD Leader to drive pipeline operations.
          o    Deploy best practice documentation to facilitate the creation or operation of a self-service model that allows the business to access best-practice when rolling our campaigns or solutions which are not directly supported by BD.
•    Relationship management and influencing:
          o    Develop and maintain strong relationships across BD (i.e. MSMs and Account Teams) to ensure effective Sector and account penetration.
          o    Facilitate strategic discussions with Account teams and Market Segment Boards to determine the ideal solutions for the accounts and market segment.
          o    Thoroughly understand the solution capabilities, market issues and trends and identify target opportunities with the most potential for growth by participating in e.g. pre-sales training and BD partner events / Webinars.

 

Skills and attributes for success
•    Campaign management skills and knowledge, hands-on marketing experience, organization and prioritization skills, and attention to detail. Ability to quickly build knowledge of the EY business, particularly the key priorities, structure, internal and external audience, core offerings and our clients’ issues and agendas across sectors and geographies globally. 
•    Strong multitasking and organizational skills are essential. Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines simultaneously
•    Team player with a knack to motivate the team to deliver programs within a stipulated timeframe 
•    Ability to bridge any gap between the BMC expectations and the GDS capabilities 
•    Develop and apply creative solutions to complex issues. 
•    Apply excellent English communication skills - oral and written. 
•    Professional polish and confident level of engagement with internal and external stakeholders
•    Assert own ideas, gain support and commitment from executive level stakeholders and mobilize others to act. 
•    Gather stakeholder feedback to generate meaningful, actionable information that helps drive change and campaign improvements

 

To qualify for the role, you must have
•    University/Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
•    A proven record of activation supporting complex, multi-year services and solutions at leading clients.
•    Demonstrate success in building internal and external relationships at a senior level, and ability to constructively challenge stakeholders to open up new ways of working.
•    Excellent project management skills, proven team building and interpersonal communication and writing skills.
•    Strong working knowledge of a professional services organization.
•    Executive presence, strong leadership skills and the ability to influence others.
•    Expected percentage of time spent per BD activity: Activation and PMO (50%) / Tailoring go to market assets (50%).
