Job description 
We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Non-FS 
Technology Risk Consultant - Campus. This position offers an exciting opportunity for 
recent graduates or individuals with limited experience to kickstart their career in the 
field of IT auditing. 

 

EY - Technology Risk Consultant - Campus 
  
Technology Risk covers all risk services where EY is providing independent assurance 
and the preparation towards assurance to our clients where the assurance can be used 
by our clients to build confidence and trust with their customers, the general 
market/public, key stakeholders or when regulatory (by law or oversight) or contractually 
required. Engagements focus on the assessment and/or evaluation of IT systems and the 
mitigation of IT-related business risks. Engagements may be either assurance 
(attestation) and/or risk advisory in nature and vary considerably in size and complexity. 
Your key responsibilities are to 

 

➢ Audit Planning and Execution: 
• Assist in planning and conducting IT audits in accordance with established 
standards and guidelines. 
• Execute audit procedures to assess the effectiveness of internal controls 
related to IT systems, processes, and infrastructure. 
• Document audit findings and recommendations in clear and concise reports. 

 

➢ Risk Assessment and Analysis: 
• Identify and evaluate risks associated with IT systems, applications, and data 
security. 
• Analyse IT controls and procedures to determine their adequacy in mitigating 
identified risks. 
• Collaborate with team members to develop risk-based audit plans. 
➢ Compliance and Regulatory Requirements: 
• Stay updated on relevant industry regulations, standards, and best practices. 
• Assess compliance with regulatory requirements such as GDPR, SOX, HIPAA, 
etc. 
• Assist in evaluating the effectiveness of IT controls in meeting compliance 
objectives. 

 

➢ Communication and Relationship Building: 
• Communicate audit findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear 
and professional manner. 
• Build positive working relationships with business units and IT teams to 
facilitate audit activities. 
• Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on IT control matters. 

 

 

  


To qualify for the role, you must have 

 

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Accounting, or 
related field. 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. 
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as part of a team. 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with auditing tools/software is 
a plus. 
• Relevant internship experience or coursework in auditing, IT security, or risk 
management is desirable.
