Talent Services (TS) is a core service line within Global Delivery Services and Global Shared Services organisation, providing multiple HR Operational support services including Recruitment Operations support, Onboarding support, Core HR data administration, Learning Admin support, Performance management support, Global Mobility & CBTS support, Global Reporting, etc. to EY member firms. TS provides these services to Areas, Regions, Countries, Global & Regional Talent teams, COE Teams, and other stakeholders. These services are delivered from our centres in Dalian, China; Kerala, India; Wroclaw, Poland; and Manila, Philippines.
Virtual Talent Hub (VTH) for the respective function is an integral part of TS service offerings where the extended delivery model is used along with high-quality skills and competencies delivered virtually. This is across service lines and regions – delivering non-repetitive project-based work through skilled, agile teams. The team in the virtual hub is an extension of the regional talent teams and will cover operational/non-transnational scope.
We are looking for a Supervising Associate located in a GDS center, taking a lead role to help support the Global Succession Planning process and the Global Partner Pipeline tool development. The role will focus on both coordinating global Succession Planning activities such as deep analysis, dashboard creation, presentation of succession analytics and process improvements and managing the day-to-day operational stakeholder management with Regions and Global stakeholders.
The role will work closely with colleagues in Global Enterprise Technology, Global Learning and Development and Partner matters. Responsibilities include monthly data assurance, reporting quality assurance, project management, communication, and change management activites across the function, as well as support in developing of presentations which may consist of additional analytics and complex slides.
The role has responsibility for managing the Succession module in SuccessFactors, managing the succession crosswalk of roles and acting as the tool owner for the Global Partner pipeline tool. This role is evolving to meet the changing nature of succession planning, therefore an interest in leadership development is useful as well as a good working knowledge of EY as an organization is essential. The data held within and reported on for both succession and partner pipeline is highly sensitive and therefore professional discretion is highly valued and a pre-requisite for success.
Essential Functions of the Job:
• Develops and maintains a thorough understanding of the functional and operational processes of the Succession planning function
• Reviews work product and deliverables as necessary to ensure service levels and quality standards are consistently met
• Conducts quality checks and/or reviews of deliverables
• Challenges existing processes and approaches and provides innovative suggestions; implements opportunities that improve operational efficiency, effectiveness, internal controls, and/or customer service
• Ensures process documents are reviewed and updated on a regular basis
• Serves as the escalation point for functional issues, manages the relationship with IBM for escalations for Regions and SLs to ensure that the SuccessFactors succession tool is accurate and reflects the business needs.
• Participates in leadership meetings and/or customer calls to share feedback and operational results
• Participates on service transitions projects as needed

Skills Requirements:
• Has a very good understanding of general EY organization structure, TSS concepts/HR Shared Services organization
• Acute attention to detail
• Ability to work with confidential data, advanced excel (PowerPivot, sorts), PowerPoint, basic PowerBI, reporting tools and technology
• Has an agile mindset and good understanding of project management concepts and tools
• Excellent communication skills (facilitation and presentation skills a plus)
• Strong spoken and written English
• Good organization, analytical and problem-solving skills; logical flow of thought and process orientation
• Strong interpersonal skills and customer orientation; positive outlook, open, honest and ethical
• Proficiency with MS office and firm’s standard technology. Knowledge of PeopleSoft, SQL, VBA , People Insights, SQL (read and write) BI and latest MIS technology desirable
• Background in leadership development is desirable and an interest in strategic talent management would be useful
• Flexible and dependable; willing to adjust work schedule as necessary to flex in a global time zone environment; meet peak demands and customer requirements
