Global Mobility Programs Senior Specialist

Reports to: Mobility Programs Design Lead and Mobility Programs Consultants 

Job Summary  
▪    The Global Mobility Programs Senior Specialist supports the strategic and  operational delivery of global Mobility Programs. This role ensures that Mobility 
Programs initiatives are executed seamlessly, aligning talent placement with  organizational needs across borders while fostering continuous improvement  and stakeholder engagement.  
▪    They will collaborate closely with the SL Business Partners, Global Mobility  Programs Design Lead and Mobility Programs Consultants to drive the effective 
operation of Mobility Programs, ensuring timely and transparent coordination  of international assignments.  
▪    Furthermore, they will monitor program performance, manage escalations, and 
provide regular reporting and insights to relevant stakeholders.  

Purpose of the Job  
▪    Work effectively with Mobility Assignment Services teams, Talent Attraction  
and Acquisition and other Talent teams to coordinate the nomination, selection and placement process.  
▪    Facilitate the selection of the candidates via transparent and effective tools  
and processes.  
▪    Ensure that placement processes are operated effectively and timeously.   
▪    Ensure clear hand-offs and communication with colleagues and other  
stakeholders throughout the Mobility Program’s lifecycle.  
▪    Work closely with Mobility colleagues to administer programs effectively (e.g.  
track status, manage nominations, manage program budgets/funding,  communications).  
▪    Monitor Mobility Programs delivery in remit and provide regular reporting.  
▪    Manage escalations and keep key stakeholders informed of status, delays or  
obstacles.  
▪    Keep abreast of external and internal trends and best practices to drive  
continuous improvement of Mobility Programs.    

 

▪    Preparation of regular communications and insights to be shared with  
participants, Mobility team and stakeholders, including SharePoint.  
▪    Take ownership of tasks/projects to support the Mobility Programs Design Lead 
and work together with the appropriate stakeholders.  
▪    Prepare and/or manage relevant meetings (incl agendas/minutes) and email  
communications.  
▪    Participate and contribute in relevant calls across the Mobility and Talent  
spectrum.  

Supervision Responsibilities  
This role may have supervision responsibility for dedicated VTH resources. 

Knowledge and Skills Requirements  
▪    Good knowledge of and experience in international mobility regarding policies,  
processes and systems.  
▪    Good understanding of relevant tax and immigration legislation, as well as  
relevant employment law and other business or economic forces.  
▪    Good knowledge of generalist Human Resources –career management,  
performance reviews, termination, induction, employee relations etc.   
▪    Good business acumen, knowledge of EY’s All in business strategy and  
priorities and the firm-wide talent agenda.  
▪    Good understanding of how EY operates, the organization structure and  
culture in order to deliver exceptional assignment services and to achieve  intended talent outcomes for business and assignees.  
▪    Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel,  
PowerPoint) and others.  
▪    Proficiency in effective communication across all organizational levels and  
functions, with the ability to tailor messaging to audiences, and skilled in  collaborating across borders demonstrating a strong cultural mindset.  
▪    Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize objectives and manage all  
aspects of the role.  
▪    Commitment to ongoing professional development through training,  
certifications, and industry conferences to stay current with best practices and advancements in global Mobility.  

Job Requirements  
▪    Proven ability to forge strong relationships and networks internally to aid  
effective operational improvements and changes.  
▪    Demonstrate a strong customer service mindset. A desire to deliver exceptional 
service to internal business stakeholders and assignees.    

 

▪    Demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a fast paced, agile, and  
demanding environment.  
▪    Demonstrate ability to work effectively within a virtual teaming and complex 
stakeholder matrix environment.  
▪    Due to global nature of the role; willingness to work flexibly and with  
alternative hours will be required.  

Education  
▪    Educated to Bachelors degree as a minimum is required. In addition, professional qualifications in a related discipline is preferred. 

Experience  
Good experience supporting mobility/talent programs with coordination and reporting responsibilities.  

Certification Requirements  
▪    Relevant professional certification in a related discipline.
