Global Payroll Operate Technology Operations - Analyst

The opportunity

Work as a technical support payroll executive with a global team who is responsible in implementation and post implementation support of a global tool for EY Global Payroll Operate. This team is the single point of contact for all the countries where EY has its presence.

Your key responsibilities

• This role will be a liaison between the technology team, payroll processing country teams and the clients.
• Should have knowledge of Multi Country Payroll Operation
• Understands all phases of payroll processing. Should have knowledge of payroll inputs, processing, outputs and reports
• Should be able to support monthly operational deliveries
• Work with the IT teams in testing and deploying new releases of the payroll tool.
• Closely coordinate with the development and vendor teams on tool specific issues.
• Should be able to debug and resolve queries from clients / country payroll teams and perform root cause analysis of the issues.
• Building good knowledge of internal business processes and offering guidance to drive efficiencies.
• Coordinate projects and monitor delivery of multiple tasks against deadlines.
• Meet delivery deadlines and clearly communicate expectations.

Skills and attributes for success

• 1-3 years of total work experience preferably into IT production support on IT tools and applications.

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree, in any discipline with strong affinity towards IT tools and technologies.
• MS Office suite (beginner to expert level) – word, excel, power point.
• Able to provide functional support in good time to respond to critical usage requests from the business
• Positive attitude to function in a multi-cultural and team environment.
• Have excellent communication skills - both written and oral.
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills, structured thinking abilities and be able to see a project through to the end.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
• Demonstrate an eye for detail.
• Be flexible and willing to adjust responsibilities to align with developing business needs.
• Demonstrate capability to work in a multi-cultural environment and in complex environments where objectives may not always be aligned.
• Flexibility to work in shifts when required.
