EY-DET -  Fullstack Dotnet/React Senior Developer – Technology Consulting
As part of our GDS Consulting team, you will be part of GDS Technology Consulting team delivering to clients across regions. The client base spans across various sectors and includes collaboration with other teams within Consulting services.

Enablement Services provides cost-effective, high-skilled, and innovative services to support EY’s global and local enablement teams. Markets, BMC, AWS, Finance and Accounting, Risk Management, Procurement, People Shared Services, IT Service Delivery and IT Global Infrastructure services, are among the services offered by Enablement Services.
Our innovation specialists serve the GDS Client Service and Enablement Services teams, along with Service Lines, Core Business Services and Sectors. The team brings the desired environment, technologies and skilled teams together for facilitation, rapid prototyping and innovative thinking. The competencies offered include analytics, digital, user experience, mobile technology, infrastructure, Microsoft technologies and open innovation.

The opportunity
We’re looking for resources with expertise in Microsoft Technologies to join the group of our Microsoft Technology team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a leading firm whilst being instrumental in the growth of our service offering.
Your key responsibilities
•    Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications
•    Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable and reliable code
•    Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
•    Drive the project to achieve the milestone
•    Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues
•    Understand existing application architecture and solution design
•    Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, programming patterns, and solving complex problems
•    Experience with working with Agile methodology and scrums, and stand ups
•    Demonstrated history of excellent troubleshooting, analytical. and problem-solving skills
•    Proven track record of designing and delivering large-scale, high quality systems and software products
•    Strong written & oral communication skills
•    Lead or Mentor junior and/or mid-level developers
•    Review code and establish best practices

Skills and attributes
Required Skills
•    More than 6 years of experience in full stack development with strong expertise in Microsoft Technologies
•    Strong hands-on experience with C# and ASP.NET Core (.NET 6+) for building scalable, high-performance REST APIs
•    Strong front-end development knowledge in ReactJS
•    Solid understanding of Typescript and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
•    Experience with state management libraries such as Redux
•    Proficient in source control tools like Git, and experience with branching strategies (GitFlow, trunk-based development)
•    Familiarity with front-end testing frameworks such as Jasmine, Karma, or Protractor
•    Experience with database schema design and performance tuning in SQL Server / Azure SQL
•    Good experience in Microsoft Azure Cloud services (App Service, Functions, Azure SQL, CosmosDB, Blob Storage, DevOps)
•    Experience with Agile methodologies and collaboration tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence
Nice to Have
•    Working knowledge of Python for scripting, automation, or backend services
•    Experience writing utility scripts, data processing, or background jobs in Python
•    Familiarity with GitHub Copilot or AI assisted development tools

To qualify for the role, you must have
•    A bachelor's or master's degree
•    6-9 years of experience in .NET Development.
•    Excellent communication skills with presentation experience preferred
•    Ability to drive the project and prioritize tasks into manageable work products.
•    Can operate independently or with minimum supervision
