Job Summary
As a professional within the Oracle practice at EY, you will contribute to Consulting engagements and internal innovation initiatives. An important part of your role will be to actively participate in client engagements by executing engagement deliverables with the guidance of seniors and managers.
In line with EY’s commitment to quality, you’ll ensure that work is of high quality and review comments from seniors are adequately addressed. You’ll help to create a positive learning culture, share innovation/automation/business/improvement ideas, take ownership to complete the assigned tasks and assist fellow team members while delivering an assignment.
Client responsibilities
•Work with high-growth clients and other market leaders in industries such as retail, consumer products, media & entertainment, pharmaceutical, property development and management, education and health sciences.
Liaison with EY colleagues across the globe and deliver scope of services within risk management, business and process controls transformation and corporate governance reviews.
•Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client management and a commitment to client satisfaction.
Understand the client’s industry and recognize key performance drivers. Gain acceptance on a wide variety of issues impacting the client.
Conduct research and assist senior team members for preparing client presentations and go-to-market materials.
People responsibilities
Continually develop personal skills through trainings and on-the-job learning.
Participate in the career and performance development of the practice by training new staff and providing timely and specific performance feedback.
Foster teamwork and innovative, share knowledge with team members and enhance service delivery.
Leverage ideas from other project engagements to enhance knowledge and create efficiencies.
Understand and follow workplace policies and procedures.
Continuously strive towards exceeding client & team expectations and work on increasingly complex assignments.
Work effectively as a team member, sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication and updating senior team members on progress.
Requirements (including experience, skills and additional qualifications)
Qualifications required
Post-graduation: MBA (Finance)
Graduation: Bachelor’s Degree (Technology or Accounting related)
Professional Experience: 0 - 3 years of professional experience in related domains
Functional skills requirements
Good understanding of business processes like Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, Record to Report, Project Accounting (one or more)
Knowledge of ERPs like SAP, Oracle (Fusion, EBS, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards) (one or more)
Understanding of risk management principles and auditing concepts is highly desirable.
Technical skills requirements
Knowledge of programming languages like C/C++/HTML/ABAP/VB/SQL/DOT NET/PYTHON
Proficient in MS Office tools - Excel, Word and PowerPoint, ACL
Other Job Skills Preferred:
Awareness of disruptive technologies like cloud computing, block-chain, internet-of-things (IOT), robotic process automation (RPA) and artificial intelligence (AI) is a big plus.
