EY GDS Consulting - Risk Non-financial Services (Risk Core) – Third-Party Risk Management (NFS TPRM) – Staff

As part of our EY NFS TPRM team, you will help clients enhance their business performance by translating their strategies into realities. Working with EY-high performing teams, you will help clients to grow, innovate, protect, and optimize their business performance. 

The opportunity

We’re looking for Seniors with expertise in Third-Party Risk Management to join the leadership group of our EY- NFS TPRM team. It is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a leading firm while being instrumental in the growth of a new service offering.

Your key responsibilities

•    The position requires candidates to assist clients with due diligence, background checks and reputational risk assessment services by gathering information on specific targets (individuals/ entities) to highlight any red flags to enable the client to identify issues of concern and managing their risk especially integrity, reputation and background risks.
•    Perform desktop research using public records, commercial databases, and company registries to identify potential risks (e.g., adverse media, litigation, sanctions, financial distress, ESG violations).
•    Assess ownership structure, beneficial ownership, political exposure, group company linkages, and other red flags.
•    Review documentation such as business registrations, annual reports, codes of conduct, certifications, and financial statements.
•    Prepare reports summarizing findings, risk ratings, exceptions, and recommended actions
•    Identify risk indicators, escalate red flags, and recommend risk mitigation or acceptance strategies in line with company policy.
•    Assess third parties for modern slavery, forced labor, and human rights risks through document review and adverse media screening.
•    Support internal and client training sessions on ESG risks, modern slavery, and responsible sourcing.
•    Stay updated on emerging TPRM regulations, best practices, and global enforcement trends.

•    Exhibit initiative and participate in corporate social and team events.

To qualify for the role, you must have

•    1-4 years of experience in Third-Party Due Diligence, Compliance Risk Reviews, or Vendor Risk Management (preferably in a global or consulting environment).
•    Exposure to end-to-end vendor risk lifecycle — onboarding, screening, assessment, and monitoring.
•    Proficiency in risk research tools (e.g., World-Check, Dow Jones, LexisNexis, Moody’s Orbis, RDC, or similar).
•    Basic understanding of:
o    Analysis of corporate ownership structures, ultimate beneficial ownership (UBO) tracing, politically exposed persons (PEPs) identification, and complex control mapping
o    Interpretation of global sanctions frameworks, watchlists, enforcement actions, and regulatory restrictions issued by OFAC, UN, EU, HMT, and other authorities
o    Assessment of financial stability indicators, early-warning signals, and risk red flags using financial statements, credit reports, and market intelligence.
•    Familiarity with evaluating ESG-related risks, including environmental compliance concerns, governance weaknesses, and exposure to modern slavery, forced labor, and broader human rights violations, aligned with global reporting and due diligence frameworks. Excellent writing skills to synthesize complex findings into actionable reports.
•    Detail-oriented with strong analytical, organizational, and prioritization abilities.
•    Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint is mandatory.
•    Experience in due diligence platforms (e.g., Aravo, Coupa, ProcessUnity) are preferred.
•    Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, International Relations, Law, Business, Risk Management, or an equivalent field, offering a strong academic foundation for compliance and risk analysis.
•    Professional certifications such as CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist), CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner), or similar compliance credentials are preferred and considered an advantage.


Ideally, you’ll also have

•    Exposure to tools like Dun & Bradstreet, World-Check, Dow Jones, LexisNexis, Moody’s Orbis, RDC, or similar.
