Job Summary:

  • The Alliances Partner Operations COE is a service delivery function, established with the goal of enabling EY’s Global Alliance & Ecosystem Program. The APAC Alliances Operations Specialist will be responsible for owning and delivering operations and strategic enablement support to the APAC Alliances leadership team. This role will ensure seamless service delivery for ongoing initiatives and will also be responsible for executing special projects that are assigned from time to time. The role will involve handling multiple responsibilities like project management, reporting & analytics, strategic initiatives, stakeholder management, and facilitaing senior leadership meetings among other activities.  

 

Essential Functions of the Job:

  • Leveraging existing global dashboards and financial reporting to provide updates on revenue, wins, and pipeline and ultimately deliver key business insights to stakeholders
  • Provide ad-hoc data reporting requests for Accounts / Alliances, summary executive reporting to the area senior management
  • Coordinating/facilitating Alliances revenue planning
  • Pre and post-meeting support (e.g. agenda formation, meeting deck collation, storyboarding, content curation / design, follow up with summary / actions); own meeting materials and coordinate preparation and finalization
  • Participate/facilitate executive leadership meetings and events on a need basis, other generic meeting and workshop content development and support
  • Support APAC Alliances team with contracts initiation and tracking by working closly with the Global Alliances team
  • Ensure all APAC Alliances related reference material is systematically reviewed and refreshed, facilitate and track access to these materials in Discover and other tools
  • Cordinate with Brand Marketing and Communication (BMC)  team to develop and review relevant content (as required)
  • Evaluate current processes and procedures, suggest improvements and efficiencies
  • Partner with the APAC Alliance Operations contacts on strategic projects and initiatives as and when required
  • Work with Alliances leaders to activate and embed Alliances across APAC including internal awareness, campaigns, L&D, setting up of networks, success stories etc

 

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

  • Sales and pipeline exposure – understanding of concepts, opportunity life cycles and reporting
  • Ability to work with senior onshore stakeholders, excellent relationship and stakeholder management skills, should have the ability to develop trusted business advisor relationships with onshore stakeholders
  • Should have exposure to working in high pressure situations
  • Should have experience with virtual working preferable across multiple geographies, including cultural sensitivity, with a global mindset
  • Should be able to own initiatives, operate independently with limited guidance and oversight. Should have a strong ability to prioritize. Should have a good eye for detail and should have the perfectionist mindset for deliverables and timelines
  • Good at problem solving, should be capable of evaluation, root cause analysis and mitigation, good interpersonal skills, analytical thinking and research capabilities, comfortable interacting across multiple groups & working with various other teams towards the appropriate solution or resolution
  • Good project management skills – project budgets, execution and tracking, reviews, strong time management skills including prioritizing, organizing and tracking details and meeting a series of aggressive deadlines of multiple projects or assignments with varying completion dates
  • Excellent communication skills (English) – written and oral, strong business writing skills is essential, with the ability to create content independently with limited initial input or guidance.
  • Exposure to continuous process improvement and automation initiatives (and technologies), experience with process mapping, process documentation, internal audit preparation, facing audits, etc.
  • Should be excellent with MS Excel, Powerpoint and Power Bi skills, especially with vizualization
  • Experience working with Alliance/Partner programs in a professional services or technology company
  • Knowledge of EY & GDS operations, incl. org structure, operating model, management information systems, independence concepts, etc. (for internal candidates), Big 4 consultancy exposure with experience in leadership support/strategic environment (for external candidates)
