A Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) - Assistant Director is a key figure in a company's finance department, responsible for providing financial planning, analysis, and support to organizational decision-making. The FP&A – Assistant Director plays a crucial role in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes, as well as in analyzing financial data to help guide business strategies and investments including support to ZBB projects.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Assist in the ZBB Engagement of the firm
• Develop and maintain complex financial models to support decision-making regarding resource allocation and potential investments.
• Analyze current and past financial data and performance, identifying trends and recommending improvements accordingly.
• Prepare reports and projections based on this analysis in an understandable format for senior management.
• Evaluate Direct Costs, Rank Mix, and OPEX analysis for leaders.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior executives to identify their needs and seek a full range of business solutions.
• Provide insights to senior management around financial modeling, forecasts, and profitability.
• Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
• Guide the cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures.
• Provide analysis of trends and forecasts and recommend actions for optimization.
• Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; study proposed changes in methods and materials.
• Increase productivity by developing automated reporting and forecasting tools.
• Assist in Month-end close process
• Execute ad-hoc analysis as needed by leader
Qualifications:
• Must be able to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
• Bachelor of Science in Accountancy graduate, CPA or CMA is preferred
• Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in related field
• Above average MS Excel skills
• Knowledgeable in SAP
• Amenable to report in Taguig (2x a week)
