As a member of the AV & Interactive Technology team, the Data & Process Analyst is responsible for transforming data from a broad range of office technologies into actionable insights that improve the employee experience, optimize the utilization of our spaces, and inform strategic technology decisions. The role supports EY's vision of the Intelligent Office by analyzing data from workplace technologies such as meeting room systems, AV monitoring and management platforms, occupancy and environmental technologies, collaboration platforms, room scheduling systems, and other connected office solutions.

The Data & Process Analyst will work closely with Product Managers, Engineering, Operations, Real Estate, Facilities, and other stakeholders to identify business questions, develop meaningful reports and dashboards, and communicate insights that drive measurable improvements. The role will also map and document business processes associated with new products, capabilities, and services to ensure operational teams understand their responsibilities and are prepared to successfully support and adopt new capabilities. Through a combination of business analysis, reporting, process mapping, and stakeholder engagement, this role will help ensure our office technology delivers maximum value to the business and our people.
Key responsibilities (analytical/decision making/supervisory): Describe the tasks and responsibilities typically required in this role and the extent to which decisions might be made which will require interpretation/judgment. What degree of supervision over others is required in this role?

•    Analyze data from multiple office technologies, including meeting room systems, AV monitoring and management platforms, room scheduling systems, occupancy technologies, environmental sensors, collaboration platforms, and other Intelligent Office data sources.
•    Identify trends, anomalies, risks, optimization opportunities, and business value indicators within workplace technology and space utilization data, providing recommendations to stakeholders.
•    Collaborate with Product Managers and business stakeholders to understand the questions they need answered, define reporting requirements, and ensure reporting outputs support strategic and operational decision-making.
•    Develop reports, dashboards, scorecards, and other analytical tools that transform workplace technology data into actionable insights for Product Management, Operations, Real Estate, Facilities, and leadership teams.
•    Design, develop, maintain, and continuously improve recurring and ad hoc reports using tools such as Power BI, Excel, and other analytics platforms.
•    Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics related to workplace technologies, meeting spaces, operational performance, user experience, and technology adoption.
•    Analyze existing business processes and recommend improvements that increase efficiency, scalability, consistency, automation, and service quality.
•    Work with Product Managers, Engineering, Operations, and other stakeholders to map and document future-state processes required to deploy and support new products, features, capabilities, and technology releases that span OT teams.
•    Facilitate workshops and working sessions with stakeholders to gather process and/or reporting requirements, validate business processes, identify gaps, and ensure clarity of responsibilities (RACI’s, swim lanes), handoffs, dependencies, and support models across teams
•    Support product readiness activities by ensuring operational teams understand and document the processes, responsibilities, and reporting required to successfully adopt new technologies and capabilities.
•    Maintain documentation repositories, process libraries, report catalogs, and related governance artifacts.
•    Present analytical findings, recommendations, and process improvement opportunities to stakeholders and leadership in a clear and compelling manner.
•    Other Intelligent Office analytics, reporting, business analysis, and process improvement activities as assigned.

To be successful in this role, candidates should exhibit the following core knowledge and skills:
•    Experience collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data from multiple sources to identify trends, insights, opportunities, and recommendations that support business decision-making.
•    Experience developing reports, dashboards, scorecards, and visualizations using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Excel, or similar analytics platforms.
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to translate complex data into clear and actionable business insights.
•    Understanding of key reporting and analytics concepts, including KPI development, data modeling, data quality, trend analysis, and performance measurement.
•    Experience gathering reporting and business requirements from stakeholders and translating those requirements into effective reporting solutions.
•    Working knowledge of business process analysis and process mapping methodologies, including swim lane diagrams, RACI models, workflow documentation, operating procedures, and service delivery processes.
•    Experience facilitating workshops and working sessions with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements, validate processes, identify gaps, and drive consensus.
•    Ability to analyze existing processes and recommend improvements that increase operational efficiency, service quality, scalability, consistency, and automation.
•    Strong documentation skills, including the ability to create and maintain process maps, governance artifacts, report catalogs, knowledge articles, and operational documentation.
•    Understanding of workplace technologies, meeting room technologies, collaboration platforms, smart building technologies, occupancy solutions, environmental sensors, AV monitoring platforms, or similar technology ecosystems is beneficial.
•    Ability to work effectively with diverse cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Engineering, Operations, Office Project Consulting & Delivery, Real Estate, Facilities, and vendors.
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present findings, recommendations, and complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
•    Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
•    Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and related productivity tools.
•    Familiarity with data query languages, automation platforms, or enterprise reporting environments is beneficial.
•    Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced global environment.
•    Comfortable communicating with mid- to senior-level leadership and presenting recommendations supported by data and analysis.
•    Demonstrable experience collaborating across teams, cultures, and geographies; flexibility to work hours typical of a global team.
•    Experience working in a virtual and highly collaborative environment; proven ability to build trust with diverse cross functional teams.

Qualifications, certifications and education requirements: Are there any qualifications, certifications and/or licenses required/beneficial to perform this job? What is the minimum level of education required/suggested for this role?

Successful candidates will have the specific role experience noted below:
•    Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
•    3-5 years of experience in a business analysis, reporting, analytics, process improvement, or related role.
•    Demonstrated experience developing dashboards, reports, scorecards, or analytical solutions using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Excel, or similar reporting platforms.
•    Experience gathering requirements from business stakeholders and translating those requirements into reporting, analytics, process, or operational deliverables.
•    Experience documenting and analyzing business processes, including process maps, workflows, RACI models, operating procedures, and support processes.
•    Experience facilitating meetings, workshops, or working sessions with business and technical stakeholders to drive consensus and define requirements.
•    Strong understanding of data analysis techniques, KPI development, performance measurement, and reporting best practices.
•    Demonstrated ability to identify trends, interpret results, and communicate meaningful recommendations supported by data.
•    Experience working in a large corporate IT environment; professional services and/or global IT organization experience is a plus.

•    Experience with Visio, MS Whiteboard, Miro, ServiceNow, Power Platform, SQL, or related business analysis and process documentation tools is beneficial.
