The Alliances & Ecosystems team in BMC is seeking a Digital Marketing Lead, Assistant Director in our Global Delivery Services (GDS) to drive:
1. Program co-ordination and execution for cross-alliance / ecosystem multi-channel campaigns and internal team initiatives
2. Social media channel management (Twitter, LinkedIn and any other)
The position requires innovation, creativity, and ability to juggle multiple projects/deadlines simultaneously. It will be important to influence and build collaborative relationships across the BMC team, extended teams, and with key stakeholders across the firm and within our ecosystem partner communities. As part of our integrated Alliances & Ecosystems team, role requires an energetic and resilient team player with an excellent understanding of what it takes to deliver marketing programs in a multi-channel environment.
The Digital Marketing Lead (Assistant Manager) plays a critical role in planning, executing, and optimizing integrated digital marketing campaigns that support the firm’s business growth, brand visibility, and client engagement.
This role combines strategic digital thinking with hands-on campaign management across web, social, email, and paid media channels — ensuring digital initiatives are aligned with the firm’s business priorities
Your key responsibilities
Manage and execute the team’s digital channel strategy – especially the management of social BAU content strategy and campaigns – working in close partnership with the Ecosystem Digital marketing lead.
Work closely and advise subject matter experts to place, create and manage the digital assets, externally and internally, utilizing multiple formats and channels as appropriate
Collaborate with campaign leads, content strategists, and business stakeholders to design effective audience journeys
Oversee content publishing and user journey mapping and optimization on the firm’s website and microsites
Use SEO best practices to drive organic visibility and enhance thought leadership discoverability
Partner with analytics teams to ensure all content is tagged and measurable
Track usage and create analytics reports - measuring the effectiveness of overall marketing campaigns and individual initiatives, providing reports and status updates
Collaborate with global and regional marketing colleagues to ensure campaigns scale effectively
Skills and attributes for success
Proven ability to oversee multi-channel marketing campaigns, from concept to completion, aligning with business goals
Strong understanding of web marketing strategy and tactics
Experience authoring content in Adobe Experience Manager
Considerable experience with data visualization tools, such as Flourish and other tools such as Conductor or Crownpeak
Strong project management skills
Deep understanding of social media channels
Executive presence and ability to communicate effectively and comfortably with leadership
High level of networking, team building and stakeholder management skills
Excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Sense of humor
An agile mindset and a willingness to contribute where required to support additional, high-value initiatives and programs
To qualify for the role, you must have
Education: A bachelor’s degree with a Marketing or Communications major, or any related field is required. An MBA or MS in Marketing is an advantage.
Experience: Around 7 to 8 years of B2B marketing experience; with professional services, technology marketing, and/or channel/partner marketing experience preferred. Proven expertise in managing global-level processes and projects.
Ideally, you’ll also have
Prior experience in B2B Brand & Marketing settings
Track record of event execution, B2B brand exposure, and project management
Familiarity with digital marketing analytics and bridging expectations with capabilities
