Working in a fast-paced, global environment, you’ll be part of the GDS Philippines Brand, Marketing and Communications (BMC) team, which acts as a trusted advisor to the GDS Philippines leadership team, and the local Operations and Talent teams in driving strategic communications programs.

 

The opportunity
We are looking for a teammate who is excited to map out primarily external communications journeys, assisting from conceptualization to execution of integrated campaigns that flow seamlessly between external and internal platforms.

 

You are an organized creative, a thoughtful digital marketer and a content specialist in the disruptive world of social media. You are detail-oriented and hands-on in seeing campaigns through from start to finish. You are a strong relationship builder, building rapport and coordinating with different stakeholders to achieve various communications objectives.

 

Working closely with the GDS Philippines BMC Leader and the Supervising Associate for External Communications, you will support the development and delivery of campaigns at every step, assisting in the creation of content that engages external, as well as internal, audiences.

 

You must be able to perform administrative tasks behind each creative ask, work with on-site and virtual teams and provide necessary support to the management of a range of global and local GDS programs simultaneously. You will help measure and analyze campaign data and translate it to reports that will lead to more informed decisions. 

 

As part of the GDS Philippines BMC team, you will work with a variety of stakeholders within and outside EY and support the communications needs for both our Taguig and Cebu centers. You will help manage cross-function projects and manage stakeholder relationships.

 

Your key responsibilities
•    Support communications planning and execution, mainly focusing on external communications, across multiple campaigns for different audiences and coordinating with various stakeholders
•    Help create informative and engaging digital and social media content to share the EY GDS value proposition with internal and external audiences
•    Support the planning and delivery of integrated communications plans to position EY GDS Philippines and EY as a transformative, growing organization and the employer of choice
•    Manage and maintain EY GDS Philippines’ social media profiles and handle digital advertising and media planning and execution 
•    Monitor and measure campaign effectiveness through data analysis, reporting and tactics recommendations
•    Engages regularly with EY GDS global social media team, employer branding team and alumni program team to stay updated on global campaigns and assist in execution locally
•    Record and document internal and external communications activities and events through basic videography and photography
•    Manage and assist in executing employee ambassador and alumni programs, making sure that internal communications projects are properly planned and integrated with external communications activities
•    Coordinate with various internal stakeholders to support brand, marketing and communication initiatives and campaigns
•    Work with third-party agencies as necessary and coordinate with external partners including associations and other industry organizations
•    Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in marketing and communications 

 

Skills and attributes for success
•    Excellent English-language copywriting, editing and documenting skills; strong verbal communication skills in English 
•    Experience working on external communications campaigns and activities, from conceptualization and planning to execution and reporting, with a focus particularly on digital marketing and social media management 
•    Experience in measuring and reporting campaign results based on various metrics, data and analytics, as well as handling administrative work for creative requirements
•    Ability to network and collaborate across a matrixed organization, comfortable working in a flexible and agile environment, often with virtual teams across time zones
•    Willingness to be trained in and improve skills in internal communications, and an openness to participate in special projects targeted specifically for internal audiences 
•    Possesses working knowledge of a variety of web-based tools and a quick digital platform learner
•    Creative, innovative thinking and problem solving
•    Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
•    Working knowledge of photography and videography for the purpose of documentation
•    Stakeholder and project management experience with strong deadline-orientation as well as the ability to work under tight deadlines, prioritize work and multi-task 

 

To qualify for the role, you must have
•    Bachelor’s degree in marketing, journalism, communications, advertising or public relations
•    3-5 years in communications roles, with at least 2-3 years working on external communications
•    At least 2 years specializing in digital marketing and social media management 

 

Ideally, you’ll also have
•    Experience in catering to the communications requirements of a large and matrix organization or professional services organization
