This is a great opportunity to be a part of the GDS Enablement Services (ES) Finance organization. ES Finance delivers high value finance advisory roles spanning the Financial, Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function and Controlling functions. The FP&A includes the Business Analysis & Investments (BA&I) and the Account Support sub functions. You will be a part of the Finance function for the ASEAN Business Unit (BU), and this will be part of the Account Support domain. 
The opportunity
As the ASEAN Account support, you will be a trusted business advisor supporting the ASEAN BU Finance and leadership on varied analytical matters related to the business results and outlook. This role provides analytical reviews on revenue, profitability, projection, sales and pipeline, to give insightful support to the leadership on commercial finance matters, planning cycle, forecasting, managing various ad hoc projects and business initiatives in support of the ASEAN BU Finance function.  

Your key responsibilities
•    Assist in monitoring and tracking the Markets results and performance to strategic objectives as well as historical performance 
•    Prepare monthly analysis on revenue, Account Margin, pricing, Sales and Pipeline (including but not limited to Lapsed, win rate), backlog analysis, and trade flow
•    Involve in synthesizing and communicating detailed financial information to business leaders; assist in identifying any potential risks which might impact Service Line, Field of Play, or Industry performance and collaborate with various teams in providing strategic input to support effective decision making
•    Perform and coordinate various forecasting exercises, support the translation of business projections into meaningful figures, including data processing, modeling, and reporting
•    Execute ad-hoc analysis and data mining projects as needed
•    Support deal pricing review to ensure financial considerations are duly made, and track the deal performance and report on deviations to promote accountability
•    Participate in the strategic projects, not limited to the part of business that you support
•    Adopt and drive technology transformation to achieve cost avoidance/ savings and improve user experience
Skills and attributes for success
We are interested in people with a very positive attitude and a penchant for constant learning. As a successful candidate you will have relevant functional experience managing activities in the MFA domain and hands-on experience or strong knowledge of tools like MS Excel, ThoughtSpot, PowerBI, Mercury, Dynamics
To qualify for the role, you must have
•    A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or equivalent.
•    Membership of accredited professional accounting bodies (CPA / ACCA / CIMA etc.) is desirable.
•    At least 5-7 years’ experience in finance related roles (mainly Financial Planning & Analysis)
•    Work experience on commercial finance and/or the professional service firm environment is a plus

•    Proficiency in Microsoft Suite of applications (Excel, PowerApp), Data Analytics tools and SAP is an advantage
•    Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills
•    Excellent communication skills – written and verbal, presentation and client advisory skill
•    Ability and willingness to work in a multicultural and diverse environment and flex style as appropriate
•    Strong spoken and written English
