APAC Data Risk Coordinator- Supervising Associate

Key Responsibilities
1. Regional & Global Coordination
o Act as a liaison between Regional Data Risk teams (EMEIA & APAC) and Global Data Risk, ensuring smooth communication and alignment.
o Monitor implementation of global data risk initiatives within regions and provide feedback on progress and challenges.
2. Communication & Stakeholder Engagement
o Disseminate Global Data Risk communications to regional teams and Member Firms (MFs).
o Collect feedback from regions and escalate issues or concerns to Global Data Risk leadership.
3. Data Risk Monitoring
o Track and report on data risk practices across EMEIA and APAC regions.
o Identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement in compliance and risk posture.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
o Work closely with related teams such as RIM, DSO, GCO, DP, TARP and Infosec to address data risk matters.
o Support joint initiatives and ensure consistent application of policies and standards.
o Coordinate collaboration between regional Data Risk Leaders and GDS RM Global Data Risk to streamline GDS services in regions
5. Project Support & Implementation
o Assist regional leaders in managing projects and operational tasks.
o Coordinate regional adoption of global tools, processes, and frameworks.
6. Meeting & Call Management
o Arrange calls with regional Data Risk Leaders and Risk Management Leaders to discuss priorities and updates.
o Prepare agendas and ensure follow-up actions are tracked.
o Organise meetings between GDS RM Global Data Risk team and regions to present services that GDS can offer (e.g., data incident management, client data risk)
o Attending Data Risk, Data Protection, DSO and GCO regular calls and in-person meetings if required.
7. Presentation & Reporting
o Prepare slide decks for meetings with regions, ensuring clarity and alignment with global objectives.
o Build and maintain Power BI dashboards to visualise compliance and risk metrics.
o Analyse data to provide actionable insights for leadership and stakeholders.
