What’s in it for you?
As our Senior Manager you’ll have the opportunity to work on one of Australia’s largest private groups, within a multinational team specifically designed to meet the needs of this client.
- Provide advice to a multinational private client (including its founders/family and portfolios), regarding the income tax implications of their operations, transactions and corporate structures
- Provide advice on the application of domestic Australian tax law and tax treaties, including both established law (e.g. controlled foreign company regime) and recent developments (e.g. thin capitalisation reforms)
- Opportunity to work alongside two EY Partners in a highly effective, collaborative, and diverse global team
- Opportunity to work closely with the client and their external advisors on the structuring and implementation of large-scale transactions
- Manage international engagements
What we’re looking for
Here’s our ‘wish list’ but don’t worry if you don’t tick all the boxes. We’re interested in your strengths, what you want to learn, and how far you want to go.
- At least 7 years’ experience in Australian tax consulting within a top tier accounting firm, corporate, tax consulting or legal environment
- Inbound and outbound transaction consulting with international tax research, planning and compliance experience and/or tax due diligence, deal structuring, and post-acquisition planning experience
- Able to succinctly and clearly communicate complex tax concepts to clients
- Experience managing budgets, projects and people
- Ability to develop relationships with clients and provide a high level of client service
- Excellent interpersonal skills and time management capabilities
- Legal practicing certificate required
