The opportunity

 

We are looking for a Senior Manager within the Valuation, Modelling and Economics team in our Sydney office.

 

Join Valuation and Business Modelling and you join a team of experienced professionals who bring to clients excellence in accounting, taxation and financial due diligence. You will help guide clients through the model review, model support and model-build activities necessary to make key decisions and improve strategic outcomes. With over 1,600 valuation professionals worldwide, no similarly positioned global professional organisation can match our breadth of capabilities or our depth of resources.

 

Your key responsibilities

 

  • serve as a member of multiple client engagement teams.
  • manage financial modelling valuations for management planning, mergers and acquisitions, financial reporting, tax and regulatory compliance and corporate strategy.
  • assume a leadership role in report generation and detailed financial modelling
  • maintain and develop positive and productive relationships with clients.
  • stay abreast of current business and economic developments relevant to client's business

 

Skills and attributes for success

 

  • a bachelor's degree in finance or accounting or a master's degree and approximately 7 years of related work experience
  • strong financial modelling skills and the ability to create financial models based on strategic business plans
  • business development and client management skills
  • the ability to manage project expenditures against budget and revenue
  • excellent analytical, communication and teamwork skills

 

Ideally, you’ll also have
