The opportunity

 

As a Business Analyst in EY’s Financial Services Consulting team, you will drive technology transformation projects that maximise business value. Your role involves collaborating with stakeholders to improve systems and processes, managing timelines and risks, and ensuring projects deliver on scope and quality. You will use delivery methodologies like Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid to meet project needs, relying on your strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills to facilitate successful outcomes.

Someone who is highly motivated self- starters and strong team players who like to push themselves, who can think strategically but enjoy 'rolling up their sleeves' and working closely with clients to get the job done.
 

Your key responsibilities 

 

  • Assist clients with successful delivery of their business transformation projects across areas such as:
    • Strategic cost reduction and operational efficiency
    • Process optimisatsion and ways of working
    • Operating model design and implementation
    • Growth strategy
    • Digital transformation
  • Deliver complex transformation programs spanning the entire lifecycle - from strategy through design and into implementation
  • Contribute to business development and account management activities such as pursuits, proposals and managing key relationship
     

 

Skills and attributes for success

      

To be considered for this role you must have hands-on experience in delivering projects/programs involving technology transformation, preferably within the financial services environment.

 

Ideally, you’ll also have the skills and attributes below but don’t worry if you don’t tick all the boxes. We’re interested in your aptitude, attitude and willingness to learn.  

 

  • Possess 3–5 years of substantive experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong record of success in technology transformation delivery, project management, or program support within the financial services sector.
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems Management, or a closely related discipline, with the ability to apply academic knowledge to complex professional challenges.
  • Demonstrate exceptional capacity for effective collaboration within diverse and inclusive teams, consistently delivering high-quality outcomes and engaging stakeholders across both business and technology domains.
  • Exhibit outstanding organisational skills, exemplary communication abilities, and proven problem-solving acumen.
