The opportunity

As part of our ongoing growth strategy, we are in search of a talented SAP System Administrator who is eager for career advancement and growth to join our dynamic team. In close collaboration with our SAP Implementation team, you will be instrumental in facilitating the seamless migration of payroll systems from Preceda to SAP. This transition is critical for enhancing our clients' payroll capabilities and ensuring compliance with industry standards. You will support the configuration for a variety of clients across different sectors and complexities. Following the migration, this role will involve direct client engagement, where you will provide expert guidance on all payroll-related matters. This dynamic position offers the opportunity to establish and enhance new procedures and processes while fostering relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

This is a hybrid position based in Warrang – Sydney.  Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options.

Your key responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end payroll implementation projects, leveraging expertise to support the Senior Manager of Payroll Operations Services and guide clients through implementation processes.
  • Oversee the transition from Preceda to SAP, including migration planning, payroll configuration, testing, validation, and compliance requirements.
  • Manage multiple client projects, coordinating with offshore and SAP transition teams to ensure successful onboarding, configuration, and delivery within scope.
  • Build strong client and team relationships by acting as a key liaison, fostering collaboration, providing coaching, and proactively addressing challenges with innovative solutions.

Skills and attributes for success

  • Deliver end-to-end payroll implementation projects, including requirements gathering, project planning, execution, and post-implementation support.
  • Configure and customise SuccessFactors Employee Central and Payroll solutions, including data migration, validation, troubleshooting, and compliance management.
