Resource Manager (Supervising Associate) – AI and Data, Technology Consulting 

  

 

The Opportunity 

  

As a Resource Manager, you’ll play a key role in enabling our business deliver to our clients and  enabling our people to enhance their career and skill development through the allocation of engagement roles.This role requires close collaboration with business leaders to understand client demand, internal capabilities, and skill requirements to ensure the  right talent is positioned to meet business and client needs. 
 
In this role you will also be an advisor into workforce planning through the completion of processes that provide insight into workforce capacity, skills, capabilities, and trends to enable business make informed, future focused decisions. You will be required to balance resource demand and supply effectively to prioritise business needs whilst supporting  career opportunities of our people. 

 

This is a hybrid position based in Naarm – Melbourne, Meanjin – Brisbane or Warrang – Sydney. Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options 
 
 

Your key responsibilities 

 

  • The ability to quickly understand the business, project portfolios and the unique skills, goals and aspirations of our people.  

  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the business, capabilities, and evolving client demands. 

  • Provide actionable data insights on skill availability, skills gaps based on demand, and trends to inform recruitment and upskilling initiatives. 

  • Ensure the right people are positioned in the right roles to align to client delivery and business needs. 

  • Monitor and report on business utilisation, capacity, and forecast future resource needs highlighting key trends and recommendations to business leadership 

 

Skills and attributes for success 

 

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in either business workforce planning, resource management or recruitment within a complex or fastpaced environment.  

  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build and maintain trusted relationships and manage expectations across multiple levels of the business.  

  • Proven analytical capability, with a high attention to detail and a focus on data accuracy to drive insights and recommendations.  

  • Experience collaborating closely with Talent and Recruitment teams to align supply, demand and capability development.  

  • Confidence using data to provide insights and influence behaviour change, support agile ways of working and drive continuous improvement. 

  • An interest in identifying skills gaps and training needs to support capability uplift and future workforce readiness.

  • Strong organisational and time management skills
