Could the skills you build here unlock doors anywhere?

At EY we believe that whoever you are, your uniqueness helps us stand apart.

We bring together extraordinary people, like you, to build a better working world.

What’s in it for you?

As our Payroll Consultant you’ll join our Core Business Services (CBS) service line as part of the Oceania Payroll Team, and you will help support the important business enablement functions that keep our organisation running strong. You will be responsible for the operations of general payroll duties together with a variety of broader administration tasks for payrolls across Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea.

  • Work from home and out of one of our two Sydney offices, with flexible working and leave arrangements, plus a fantastic and comprehensive Rewards/Benefits program upon joining

  • Be part of a diverse and inclusive workplace and work with people who inspire and bring out the best in you to develop new and different skillsets and build your career

  • Continuous learning opportunities where success is defined by you. Develop the mindset and skills to navigate whatever comes next, and we’ll provide you with the tools and flexibility so you can make a meaningful impact, your way.

What we’re looking for

  • Here’s our ‘wish list’ but don’t worry if you don’t tick all the boxes. We’re interested in your strengths, what you want to learn, and how far you want to go.

  • Possess 3+ years of Payroll experience in an autonomous role

  • Demonstrated experience managing the processes of a high-volume payroll

  • Sound knowledge of Australian payroll legislation including leave entitlements, PAYG, Superannuation and payroll tax (NZ payroll experience would be highly valued)

  • Excellent communication, time management skills and ability to juggle multiple tasks

  • Have a curious mindset and a customer centric attitude with a passion for getting things right

What we can offer you
