As our Operations Associate you’ll own the function of business and operations in EY wavespace Oceania. You’ll collaborate with a wide-ranging set of stakeholders within wavespace, across the broader EY community, and externally with clients, developing and implementing strategy and process improvements that positively impact the overall business.
This role is based in Warrang – Sydney. Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options.
Your key responsibilities
- Preparing quarterly ‘storytelling’ reports for Market Service Leaders, working with the global wavespace team to ensure the required dashboards are available
- Owning month-end reconciliations; maintaining wavespace operational budget
- Drive best practice and oversee data hygiene with Oceania wavespace team
- Lead opportunities for operational improvement – identifying areas where processes could be streamlined; efficiency gains; aligning to our core activities
- First point of contact through our online channels: providing a great client experience through written communication and ensuring content is relevant on our SharePoint.
What we look for
To be considered for this role you must have 3-5 years professional experience in a client or customer facing role and experience in project management.
Ideally, you’ll also have the skills and attributes below but don’t worry if you don’t tick all the boxes. We’re interested in your aptitude, attitude and willingness to learn.
- Previous work in a complex business environment with multiple stakeholders
- Keen eye for process improvement and long-term planning
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, organisational, and time management skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally with various individuals and teams
- Detail oriented, yet able to span across multiple concurrent projects with strong organisational skills
- Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams and SharePoint
