Oceania Wavespace Operations Associate – Supervising Associate 

 

The opportunity 

 

As our Oceania Wavespace Operations Associate, you’ll own the business and operations function for EY wavespace across Oceania. You’ll work at the centre of a highenergy, fastmoving environment, collaborating with wavespace leaders, the broader EY network and clients to drive operational excellence, performance insights and outstanding experiences. 

 

You’ll develop a deep understanding of the value EY wavespace brings and will champion critical stages of our endtoend experience - ensuring every engagement delivers impact, clarity and momentum. 

 

This is a hybrid position, based in Warrang – Sydney, with a strong onsite presence in our wavespace location. Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options. 

 

Your key responsibilities 

  • Champion exceptional internal and external client experiences, acting as a confident first point of contact and guiding enquiries through thoughtful triage and scheduling. 
  • Drive wavespace performance through reporting, financial reconciliation and ownership of operational dashboards and platforms, turning data into clear, actionable insights. 
  • Lead operational excellence initiatives, identifying and implementing process improvements that streamline delivery, uplift efficiency and support scalable growth. 

 

Skills and attributes for success 

  • Experience working in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities. 
  • A strong eye for process improvement, operational planning and continuous improvement. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging clients and senior stakeholders. 
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams and deliver with attention to detail. 
  • Proficiency with tools including Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams, CoPilot and SharePoint, as well as experience or curiosity around AI tools and the way they can enable work. 
  • A self-starter mindset with strong business acumen, adaptability and a collaborative, team-first approach. 
  • Willingness to learn and lean into new challenges and unfamiliar ways of working.
