Oceania C&I Finance Lead

 

The opportunity

 

As the Oceania C&I Finance Lead, you will play a pivotal role in providing commercial market insights and strategic support to the Oceania C&I leadership executive. You’ll act as a key connector between our C&I organization and service line teams, collaborating with senior stakeholders across operations, finance, and business development. Your expertise will drive commercial performance, inform strategic decisions, and operationalize key initiatives.

 

This is a full time permanent role and can be performed from any of our EY offices across Australia or  New Zealand.

 

Your key responsibilities

  • Deliver actionable commercial insights and recommendations to C&I leaders by analyzing revenue, sales, pipeline, and run rate trends. 
  • Lead the Global Investment Plan and Revenue Planning processes, partnering with C&I and Service Line leaders to set and embed ambitious targets. 
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to develop forecasts, identify risks early, and support effective decision-making. 
  • Develop industry and sector reporting using global tools and dashboards to guide strategic investment decisions. 
  • Champion best practices in financial analysis and performance management across the C&I organization.

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with a proven ability to influence senior leaders and collaborate across diverse internal functions.

 

Ideally, you’ll also have the following experience below but don’t worry if you don’t tick all the boxes. We’re interested in your aptitude, attitude and willingness to learn. 

  • 10+ years of providing sound and insightful financial support to leadership in a complex, multi-country and multi-product environment.
  • Demonstrated success in leading large scale strategic and revenue planning processes in a matrix organisation.
  • A track record of developing and refining forecast models, leveraging technology to extract commercial insights from backlog, sales, and pipeline data.
