Market Research - Observational Studies & Face-Face Interviewing - Newcastle

The opportunity

As a Market Researcher, you will play a key role in collecting data through observations and face-to-face interviews. You will assess the quality of service providers based on specific criteria and conduct short form surveys with the public about their experience.

Work Locations: Observations will take place on client services during transit in the greater Hunter region, or at their depot locations before departure (these will require a personal vehicle, with additional compensation provided).

Work Schedule: This project runs throughout March, with shifts starting as early as 4am and ending as late as 5pm, typically lasting 6 to 8 hours (depending on your availability).

Training: Successful applicants will receive 2 days of paid training at our Sydney office, which is mandatory for the role.

• Minimum availability of three days per week, including weekends.
• Flexibility for early morning and late shifts.

Skills and Attributes for Success

• Residing in Newcastle or Hunter region.
• Eligibility to work in Australia.
• Strong spoken and written English skills.
• Access to a personal vehicle is preferred but not required.
• Attention to detail and maintaining data integrity.
• Willingness to work outdoors for various shift lengths.

Additional Skills (Preferred but Not Required)

• Excellent communication skills.
• Understanding of quality standards in market research.
• Experience in market research is a plus but not essential.

The hourly rate commences at $32.26. The rate increases to $38.43 after 50 hours (unless you have already obtained these hours with a previous Market Research employer)
