The opportunity

 

A chance to join our thriving Reward team. We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Manager to join our Reward team, specialising in HR Transactions. This role is ideal for someone passionate about driving people-focused transformation across the mergers and acquisitions lifecycle—from due diligence to integration and separation. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders to deliver high-impact solutions that align HR strategy with business objectives during mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and other complex transactions.

 

This is a hybrid position based in Warrang – Sydney or Naarm - Melbourne. Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options.

 

Your key responsibilities

 

  • Lead and advise on HR strategy during transactions and transformations, including designing operating models, managing change impact assessments, and guiding clients through diligence, integration, and cultural alignment.
  • Drive project delivery and team collaboration, working cross-functionally to execute initiatives, manage teams, and coach team members for growth and development.
  • Innovate through AI integration, bringing fresh ideas and embedding intelligent solutions into everyday HR practices.

 

Skills and attributes for success

 

  • Extensive HR experience in consulting or corporate environments, with a strong foundation in HR operations, organisational design, and change management—especially within transaction or transformation contexts.
  • Proven leadership and project management skills, with the ability to navigate complex initiatives, manage competing priorities, and engage effectively with stakeholders.
  • Valuable exposure to private equity and large-scale corporate transactions, enhancing strategic insight and adaptability in high-impact environments.
