Manager – HR and Workforce Transactions
The opportunity
A chance to join our thriving HR Transactions team. We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Manager to join our Reward team, specialising in HR Transactions. This role is ideal for someone passionate about driving people-focused transformation across the mergers and acquisitions lifecycle—from due diligence to integration and separation.
You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders to deliver high-impact solutions that align HR strategy with business objectives during mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and other complex transactions.
This role is based in Melbourne or Sydney.
Your key responsibilities
- Lead HR transaction workstreams across diligence, integration, and transformation phases.
- Design and implement operating models and organisational structures for new businesses going through transactions and transformations
- Manage change impact assessments, consultation processes, and cultural alignment initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding them through their HR strategy during their transaction
- Be part of and manage teams to deliver projects for clients
- Grow our team through coaching and developing team members.
- Bringing your bright ideas and integrating AI solutions into your day to day work.
What we look for
Ideally, you’ll have the skills and attributes below but don’t worry if you don’t tick all the boxes. We’re interested in your aptitude, attitude and willingness to learn.
- Proven experience in HR in either consulting or corporate environment, ideally within a transaction or transformation context.
- Strong understanding of HR operations, organisational design, or change management.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Ability to lead complex projects and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience working with private equity or large-scale corporate transactions is a plus.
