EY's Deal Technology division leads in offering specialised transaction advice and services to a wide range of clients, including corporations, governments, and private equity firms. We excel in managing the complexities of mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, aligning clients' digital, cybersecurity, and IT strategies with their business goals. Our skilled team supports clients from the beginning, providing strategic analysis and navigating through deal execution. Our services include detailed IT due diligence, post-merger integration, strategic IT separation, and enhancing post-deal value.

What’s in it for You?

We're on the lookout for a high-performing Manager who is eager to be part of our forward-thinking Deal Tech team, providing support to both local and international clients as they evaluate their IT frameworks. As part of the TSE IT team, you'll provide management consulting throughout the deal lifecycle, analyse IT systems, and offer key insights. Our services cover IT M&A due diligence, IT separation and integration advisory, and post-deal value creation.

You’ll become part of an established team that values innovative thinking and provides you with the tools to design a career path as unique as you are. With us, you'll be empowered to:

  • Lead the delivery of IT due diligence, IT post-merger integration and IT separation/carve-out assignments from inception to completion including project management and report writing.
  • Build and maintain effective client relationships with senior stakeholders and be accountable for a high degree of client satisfaction with the engagement process and work products.
  • Support the sales lifecycle process including the client and engagement acceptance process, development of statements-of-work and proposals and pricing of engagements.
  • Train, oversee and motivate a team of high-performing IT transaction professionals, working within the broader TSE team across Oceania.
  • Maintain IT industry thought leadership on relevant topics such as enterprise IT infrastructure, application migration, cybersecurity and digital and analytics.

Who We're Seeking

We believe that a diverse team is a strong team, and we encourage candidates from all backgrounds to apply. While we have a 'wish list,' we're more interested in your potential, your passion, and your desire to learn and grow with us.

We're on the lookout for individuals who possess:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Analytics, Business, Accounting, or Finance, with at least 6 years of experience.
  • Deep knowledge of corporate IT, including infrastructure, strategy, applications, software development, and service delivery.

  • Understanding of the M&A lifecycle, pre- and post-deal.
  • Skilled in IT integrations, divestitures, and carve-outs, with strong analytical abilities.
  • Proven leadership and project management in complex settings.

  • Problem-solving skills for ambiguous situations, using assumptions to drive IT projects.
  • Experience in practice development and enhancing team environments.
  • Strong networking skills within relevant industries.
