We are actively recruiting Audit professionals at the Manager level to join our Audit team in Sydney. Our Auditor opportunities are offered on a flexible full-time basis. You’ll help our clients meet their reporting requirements by accurately reporting on financial statements and providing meaningful insights into accounting and reporting matters. As a Manager, you will: 

• Manage the audit engagement by defining audit strategy, in consultation with the Senior Manager / Partner, and executing it in compliance with our policies and protocol
• Effectively manage the Audit process with appropriate consideration of audit risk issues and accounting technical matters
• Lead and manage fieldwork on clients' sites including liaising with other departments to ensure the smooth delivery of the Audit process

What we’re looking for

Here’s our ‘wish list’ but don’t worry if you don’t tick all the boxes. We’re interested in your strengths, what you want to learn, and how far you want to go.

• At least 6 years' experience as an auditor within a Big 4 or second tier accounting firm
• A degree and/or progress towards/completion of a recognised accounting qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent)
• Expertise in accounting frameworks (IFRS) and in related financial reporting matters
• The ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their concerns and providing value added recommendations
• The ability to create a positive learning culture, and coach and counsel junior team members to help them develop
