Industry Managed Services Client Executive
The opportunity
As our Industry Managed Services Client Executive, you'll lead the growth of EY's Managed Services business within priority industry sectors by originating, shaping and closing complex managed services opportunities. Working closely with Industry, Account, Sector and Solution leaders, you will drive go-to-market initiatives, build strategic client relationships and lead high-value pursuits across areas including Cyber, Risk, Finance, Tax, Talent, Technology, Data and ESG.
This is a hybrid position based in Warrang – Sydney, Meanjin – Brisbane, or Naarm – Melbourne. This role can be performed from any of our EY offices across Australia. Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options.
Your key responsibilities
- Drive Managed Services growth within a designated industry sector by building, qualifying and converting a pipeline of strategic opportunities and leading complex sales pursuits from origination through to close.
- Develop and execute industry-focused go-to-market strategies, campaigns and account plans that create new market opportunities and strengthen EY's Managed Services presence across priority sectors and on Industry based Managed Services Sales growth.
- Lead high-profile client pursuits by mobilising cross-functional EY teams, shaping commercial strategies and engaging with senior client stakeholders to deliver innovative, technology-enabled solutions.
Skills and attributes for success
- Demonstrated experience leading complex consulting, outsourcing, managed services or transformation pursuits, including opportunity qualification, solution shaping and commercial negotiation.
- Strong business development, net-new deals and relationship management skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior executives and board-level stakeholders.
- Proven ability to lead and collaborate across geographically dispersed teams, service lines and stakeholder groups to achieve strategic outcomes.
- Commercial acumen and strategic thinking, with the ability to identify growth opportunities and translate business challenges into client-centric solutions.
- Exceptional communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills, coupled with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
Ideally, you’ll also have the skills and attributes below but don’t worry if you don’t tick all the boxes. We’re interested in your aptitude, attitude and willingness to learn.
- 10-15+ years' experience in Managed Services, outsourcing, consulting, business development, complex deal pursuits or related professional services environments.
- Industry expertise and established networks within sectors such as Consumer, Government, Health, Industrials, Energy, Technology or related industries.
- Experience designing and executing account, sector or solution-based go-to-market initiatives in collaboration with sales, marketing and alliance teams.
- Strong experience of commercial negotiation, business development and delivery
- Experience working within a Big Four, professional services, managed services, technology services or BPO environment.
- Strong consulting skillset to develop deal strategies, mobilize cross-functional teams and develop quality outputs
