What’s in it for you? 

As a Senior Manager/Funds Lawyer in our Financial Services Law team, you’ll be working in either our Sydney or Melbourne office with an energetic and rapidly growing team. In this role you will have the opportunity to work on a range of interesting and varied matters to help shape and enhance business strategies to help our clients solve tomorrow’s problems today.  Work in a collaborative and supportive environment where you’ll have the freedom to shape your career through our comprehensive development programs to help you be the best version of yourself, both inside and outside of work. 

• Provide financial services law and regulatory advice in multidisciplinary teams for local and offshore fund managers and other participants in the wealth and asset management sector
• Assist with fund establishment and structuring, product disclosure and distribution including advising on regulatory and licensing compliance
• Draft fund and corporate documents as well as negotiating terms and conditions with service providers
• Liaising with key regulators
• Reviewing regulatory reforms and changes and providing training internally (where required)

What we’re looking for

• Five to nine years post qualification experience
• Financial services and corporate law experience (with a focus on funds management) with a passion for the financial services sector
• Excellent client facing skills and strong commercial acumen
• Demonstrate strong technical and drafting skills
• Experience in working as part of a team, with the ability to build effective internal and external relationships
• Excellent attention to detail, intellectual curiosity and strong analytical skills with the ability to provide practical advice relating to complex regulatory matters
• Experience with managing and developing junior lawyers.
