What’s in it for you?
As our Executive Communications Leader, EY Oceania, you will play a critical role in crafting and delivering the messages for our executive leadership, EY Oceania – helping to shape the firm’s narrative, and ensuring alignment with our corporate vision and values. You will be the key architect of the executive leadership’s external and internal communications, enhancing their presence and influence.
You will be required to seek the expertise of subject matter experts across the firm to ensure that all executive leadership communication are timely, accurate and verified. In addition, you will be required to undertake work that can be complex or sensitive and you’ll need to exercise a considerable degree of independence as you provide advice on attendance at key events and be responsible for producing well researched, concise speeches and speech notes, emails, and presentations on all remits for the executive leadership.
This exceptional opportunity is strategic, entrepreneurial, practical and relational. You will be proactively identifying opportunities for the executive leadership to contribute to public debate and exert network influence in support of EY Oceania’s objectives, working closely with the Strategic Communications Leader to ensure our executive leadership’s public profile directly supports EY’s strategic agenda.
What we’re looking for

- Proven experience (8+ years) in strategic communications leadership roles with a track record of successfully shaping executive narratives and influencing public opinion.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft messages that resonate with diverse audiences.
- Strong understanding of the full potential of the executive leadership’s role to drive organisational strategy and objectives.
- High level relationship management and interpersonal skills, including appreciating the nuances of the executive leadership’s networks and relationships at a deep level.
- Proof-reading, sub-editing and advice on level content.
- Ability to act as a ‘sense-check’ sounding board for executive leadership.
- High level strategic communications thinking.
