The Opportunity
Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for solving complex business problems? EY-Parthenon Strategy is looking for a Strategy Consultant to join our growing practice as a Business Analyst.
As a Strategy Consultant, you’ll:
- Analyse complex business problems using qualitative and quantitative research to develop meaningful insights and recommendations.
- Support strategy development, transformation, commercial due diligence and operational improvement projects across a range of industries.
- Conduct market, competitor, industry and financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, risks and support strategic decision-making.
- Prepare clear, concise and client-ready presentations, reports, business cases and supporting materials.
- Contribute to project workstreams, client workshops, interviews and meetings, ensuring high-quality deliverables are completed on time.
- Collaborate effectively with team members, demonstrate curiosity and initiative, and contribute to EY-Parthenon’s collaborative culture through knowledge sharing and internal initiatives.
This is a hybrid position based in either Warrang – Sydney or Naarm – Melbourne.
Skills and attributes for success
- Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesise complex information into practical recommendations.
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly and compellingly.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct research, analyse data and develop insights that support informed decision-making.
- Strong attention to detail, sound judgement and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Commercial awareness, proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, experience with data visualisation, AI and analytical tools is highly desirable.
- A bachelor's degree (or equivalent) with strong academic achievement
