The Opportunity

As a Manager within EY-Parthenon Strategy, you will play an integral role in helping clients solve their most complex strategic challenges. Working alongside experienced strategy professionals and clients, you will contribute to high-impact engagements by delivering rigorous analysis, developing innovative solutions and supporting exceptional client outcomes. As your experience grows, you will take increasing ownership of project workstreams, build trusted client relationships and coach strategy Strategy Consultants, while continuing to develop your consulting and leadership capabilities. You'll be part of a collaborative, high-performing team where curiosity, commercial thinking and continuous learning are valued. 

Your key responsibilities

• Analyse complex business problems, develop innovative solutions and communicate insights that influence client outcomes.
• Manage or support strategy, transformation and commercial due diligence workstreams, delivering high-quality outputs on time.
• Apply strategic and commercial thinking to develop practical, evidence-based recommendations.
• Build trusted client relationships and collaborate effectively across engagement teams to support successful delivery.
• Coach and mentor Strategy Consultants, providing guidance, feedback and support throughout engagements.
• Contribute to business development, thought leadership and internal initiatives while managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

This is a hybrid position based in either Warrang – Sydney or Naarm – Melbourne.

Skills and attributes for success 

• Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesise complex information into practical recommendations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Demonstrated ability to take ownership of workstreams and deliver high-quality outcomes in fast-paced environments.
• Experience coaching, supporting and leading small teams, including the development of junior team members.
• Commercial awareness, sound professional judgement and a collaborative approach to working in high-performing teams.
• A willingness to learn, adapt and commit to continuous personal and professional development.
• 3+ years of relevant strategy experience.
