The Opportunity
Join EY-Parthenon’s Transaction Diligence team and play a key role in delivering financial viability services as part of EY’s Financial Capacity Centre. Our Centre conducts high‑volume financial viability and capacity assessments on proposed suppliers before, during, and after procurement to help clients manage risk and avoid contracting with suppliers who may not be financially sustainable.
In this role, you’ll work closely with the Financial Capacity Centre to support the development of robust financial assessments and contribute to major infrastructure projects that shape our nation’s future.
This position is based in Warrang – Sydney.
Your key responsibilities
As a Consultant or Senior Consultant you’ll:
- Support the delivery of financial viability and capacity reviews for client‑nominated suppliers
- Conduct financial analysis using a broad range of public and private data sources
- Contribute to the preparation of clear, insightful written reports
- Engage directly with clients through meetings and presentations of key findings
- Gain exposure to the wider Transaction Diligence team, with future opportunities to work on financial due diligence engagements
- Receive support toward obtaining your Chartered Accountant qualification
Skills and attributes for success
- 1–2 years of experience in finance, accounting, restructuring, or similar fields (experience in financial viability assessments is desirable but not essential)
- Commitment to completing the Chartered Accountant qualification
- Interest or experience in utilities, infrastructure, or major transport projects
- Baseline Security Clearance or Australian citizenship (with willingness to obtain clearance)
