Director, ServiceNow – Technology Consulting

Bringing clarity to complex program delivery, via people and organisational change, business design and cyber, risk and assurance. This leadership role will be responsible for driving the strategic direction, growth, consistency, and operational excellence of EY’s ServiceNow offerings. You possess a deep understanding of ServiceNow solutions and importantly, how the AI powered NOW platform is positioned and drives value within modern-day enterprise, government and defence departments. You will be expert in creating internal executive level relationships, ensuring EY’s ServiceNow capability is central in the firms overarching go-to-market strengths such as Tax, Risk, Cyber, Finance and AI. Building excellence and consistency of what we take to market and how we differentiate to win in the market, is central to how you navigate success in this role.

 

This is a hybrid position based in either Melbourne - Naarm / Canberra - Ngambri / Brisbane - Meanjin / Sydney – Warrang.

 

Your key responsibilities

 

  • Collaboration and execution of the business strategy to drive consistency, innovation, and profitable growth of EY’s ServiceNow practice.
  • Collaboration with EY’s industry go-to-market leaders & teams, ensuring our ServiceNow offerings are embedded and/or included in how we solve our customers biggest challenges.
  • Build a best-in-class approach to how we respond to in-market opportunities. Ultimately improving our win rates to agreed measures, using all available technology and methodology to improve quality & consistency of response.
  • Build & execute EY’s methodology to deliver ServiceNow projects, ensuring adherence to best practice, timelines, and budgets. Execute the learning and adoption of this methodology across the Oceania practice and our GDS colleagues.
  • Coach & mentor team members fostering a high-performance culture, continuous improvement & an environment that encourages and recognises effort, innovation and excellence.
  • Be an EY leader in the ServiceNow eco-system. Known for your thought leadership, customer centric approach and strong relationships across our customer and Oceania ServiceNow teams.

 

Skills and attributes for success

 

  • You’re a ServiceNow Certified Master Architect (CMA). Whilst you may have a background and depth of experience across ServiceNow’s ITx core, more recently, you have led, won & built enterprise service management solutions via the Now platform. Ideally you have cross industry experience, however depth of expertise within an industry is highly regarded.
  • You’re passionate about best in class go-to-market, coupled with delivery excellence. Building and executing these critical pillars and identifying the talent required, is something that motivates you. You may not have all the answers, but you’ve a track record of knowing where to find them.
  • You have experience in building teams and capability, and inspiring and empowering the people around you to create purposeful careers that achieve impact. You can work in ambiguity and a matrix model.
  • You’re known in the ServiceNow ecosystem. You can pick up the phone to clients, ServiceNow sales and leadership and your network to ascertain market opportunities and the intricacies that give us a competitive advantage. You know how to position EY to win these opportunities – with the assistance & leadership of the broader EY network.
  • You understand how to operate within a large multi-national (ideally partnership) business. You enjoy creating the internal relationships that build the win-win outcomes for our customers and our EY teams. You understand the ServiceNow operate at a certain pace and know how to navigate the internal matrix to keep us at the forefront of our pursuits and partnership goals.
