As a Senior Data Engineer, you will support our clients in defining and implementing a data journey aligned with their strategic objectives. Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and Building the enterprise data warehouse from scratch using the domain and technical expertise on a cloud platform using various 
  • Part of the team which will be the key in executing the data strategy to create a single source of truth which will enable various opportunities for the client in the world of Reporting and Analytics 
  • Working closely with the Data modelling team, Requirements team, Business and Technical Product Owners, Lead Data Engineer, Test Lead to Design, Build and Execute data pipelines to meet the business requirements

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • 5+years in the Data Engineering with good hands-on experience in building complex data solutions in Cloud (Preferably Azure) using data engineering tools such as Spark, Scala etc.
  • Knowledge of SQL is a must with an ability to analyse complex data sets to pro-actively find the gaps in the requirements, modelling, source systems etc.
  • Excellent understanding of Data Warehousing Concepts – Relational data model, ETL/ELT, etc.
  • Prior experience in designing and building complex data pipelines in a large data engineering and Data Warehousing programmes from data ingestion to Transformation to consumption to meet the reporting and analytics needs
  • Extensive experience in dealing with data challenges – data quality and performance – throughout complex technology landscapes

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Experience in engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Consulting experience and background, including engaging directly with clients.
  • Experience in a delivery role on Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, Big Data or analytics projects.
