D365 Finance Functional - Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance Manager to join our team. You will be working with our clients to understand their business needs and requirements and then provide expert guidance on how to configure and use Dynamics 365 Finance to meet their needs. Additionally, you will be responsible for leading a local team of Dynamics 365 Finance consultants and ensuring the successful delivery of projects.

Please note, in line with client requirements you must be already living, or willing to relocate to Sydney or Melbourne.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Manage finance-related activities on Dynamics 365 Finance implementation projects, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and training.
• Work closely with clients to understand their business processes and requirements and then provide guidance on how to configure and use Dynamics 365 Finance to meet those requirements.
• Lead a local team of Dynamics 365 Finance consultants, providing guidance, coaching, and mentoring as needed.
• Collaborate with other team members, including senior leaders, project managers, developers, and functional consultants, to ensure successful project delivery.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest Dynamics 365 Finance capabilities and features and assess their applicability to our clients' needs.
• Provide support and guidance to clients during and after the implementation process.

What we’re looking for: 

Here’s our ‘wish list’ but don’t worry if you don’t tick all the boxes. We’re interested in your strengths, what you want to learn, and how far you want to go. 

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in finance and accounting, including experience with ERP systems such as Dynamics 365 Finance.
• Strong knowledge of finance and accounting processes, including general accounting, financial reporting, and project management and accounting
• Experience leading teams of consultants or analysts.
• Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant Associate) are preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact with clients at all levels of an organisation.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Willing to travel to client sites as needed.
