Community Impact Program Facilitator – Part-time

 

 

The opportunity

 

As our Community Impact Program Facilitator, you’ll be responsible for the face-to-face facilitation of program specific content to school-aged children using stagecraft and engaging pedagogical techniques to captivate and create social impact through positive behavioural change methodology, along with client, brand representation, reporting, general administration and school marketing duties as required.  

 

This role is based in Warrang – Sydney, working 30 hours per weeek across 5 days. Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options.

 

Your key responsibilities

 

  • Deliver allocated face-to-face program workshop sessions independently according to supplied script in various schools across the Sydney area. This will be required to be in an engaging and informative manner, ensuring all required learning objectives and props are utilised, whilst maintaining positive client brand representation.
  • Gather teacher and student feedback to support and measure program effectiveness using tools available. 
  • Stay in regular contact with the Bookings and Program Administration team over scheduling, attendance at booked sessions, customer service matters and general program administration.

 

What we look for     

 

  • To be considered for this role you must have previous experience in presenting to primary or secondary school-aged children. Qualifications in children services, education, program facilitation, performing arts and/or related discipline is desirable.

 

Ideally, you’ll also have the skills and attributes below but don’t worry if you don’t tick all the boxes. We’re interested in your aptitude, attitude and willingness to learn. 

 

  • Confident public speaker with the ability to engage and motivate audiences, particularly in face-to-face workshops.
  • Quick learner with a demonstrated ability to keep content fresh and relevant during repeated presentations.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, exceptional telephone manner, and intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Self-motivated and disciplined, capable of working autonomously while maintaining effective communication and time management.
