The Opportunity  

 

We are looking for Cloud Data Engineer’s to join our growing Digital & Emerging Technology Consulting team across Sydney and Melbourne.  

 

Joining this team, you will be responsible for delivering a range of data projects which will include defining and implementing data journeys for our Tier 1 – Financial Services clients.  

 

Skill wise, we are looking for someone with... 

  

  • At least 3-5 years of experience with cloud/data design & engineering or data analysis. 
  • Experience with Azure, AWS or GCP 
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Kafka, Microservices. 
  • Experience with hybrid cloud, on-premises virtualisation 
  • Experience using data modelling and handling techniques such as Schema driven modelling 
  • Experience with Hadoop, Spark, Data Bricks and/or Snowflake 
  • Understanding of ETL tools such as Glue, Data Factory, and Data Modelling  
  • Knowledge/experience with SQL, Python, PySpark or Java 
  • Ability to translate business requirements to technical requirements from conceptual to physical models 
  • Ability to work in highly collaborative Agile teams 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Regarding this role, the minimum salary is AUD $80,000 plus 10% superannuation.
