Aptitude Finance Systems Consultant – Financial Services – Business Consulting
The opportunity
As our Aptitude Finance Systems Consultant (Senior Consultant, Manager or Senior Manager) you’ll be at the forefront of finance transformation, leveraging technology to drive efficiency and innovation within the financial services sector. You'll work on large-scale, meaningful projects that digitise and streamline finance functions, enhancing business, customer, and employee outcomes.
This role is based in Naarm – Melbourne or Warrang – Sydney. Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options.
Your key responsibilities
- Lead and deliver complex projects in the realm of subledger roles within financial services, utilizing your expertise to provide exceptional results.
- Engage with cutting-edge financial software tools such as Aptitude, Simcorp, FSPO, and Alladin, enhancing your technical prowess and staying ahead in the industry.
- Collaborate with a team of skilled professionals in a dynamic, supportive environment that fosters professional growth and thought leadership.
What we look for
- Proven experience in finance and business consulting, with a strong background in financial services such as banking, capital markets, insurance, or asset management.
- Experience with Enterprise performance management software implementation such as; Aptitude, SimCorp, FSPO, or Alladin.
- A desire to work with emerging technologies to transform finance or other functions, with excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to articulate ideas and solutions clearly.
Ideally, you’ll also have the skills and attributes below but don’t worry if you don’t tick all the boxes. We’re interested in your aptitude, attitude and willingness to learn.
- Solid understanding of subledger roles and processes within the financial services industry.
- Ability to hit the ground running on complex projects and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- While an Accounting, IT, or Finance-oriented tertiary qualification is desirable, it's not essential.
