Senior Consultant - Corporate Tax - Suva

The opportunity 

We are looking for a Senior Consultant to join our market leading tax practice in our Corporate Tax team. At EY, the Corporate Tax team is at the heart of the client relationship in providing tax services to our corporate tax clients, and by joining our team you will be mentored by some of the best in this field to gain the skills and experience to become a trusted advisor, bringing the best of EY to our clients to deliver value add solutions and insights.

Your key responsibilities 

• Lead and manage direct and indirect tax compliance and advisory assignments
• Review tax computations, returns, and client deliverables
• Provide strategic tax planning and structuring advice
• Manage client relationships and ensure high-quality service delivery
• Guide and mentor junior staff, supporting their technical development
• Stay updated on tax regulations, rulings, and industry trends

Skills and attributes for success 

• Bachelor of Accounting Degree 
• 4–6 years of post-qualification experience in taxation (preferably in a CA firm or consulting environment)
• Strong technical knowledge of direct and indirect taxes
• Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines
