At EY, we’re all in to shape your future with confidence.

We’ll help you succeed in a globally connected powerhouse of diverse teams and take your career wherever you want it to go.

Join EY and help to build a better working world.

The opportunity

At EY-Parthenon, our unique combination of transformative strategy, transactions, tax and corporate finance delivers real-world value - solutions that work in practice, not just on paper. Benefiting from EY's full spectrum of services, we have reimagined strategic consulting for a world of increasing complexity. With deep functional and sector expertise, innovative AI-powered technology and an investor mindset, we partner with CEOs, boards, private equity and governments every step of the way.

EY-Parthenon is looking for Engagement Managers to join our Nordic Strategy & Execution team, leading Deal Technology work where technology is an investment thesis, a value creation lever and a transformation enabler, not just transaction support. This is more than a delivery role: deal technology is a fast-growing market with increasing demand, and our Nordic team is expanding rapidly. You will help build something bigger, from shaping our offering to growing our team, while advising clients on IT due diligence, carve-outs, integrations and technology-led value creation at the intersection of AI, data, cloud, private equity and corporate transactions.

Your key responsibilities

As an Engagement Manager, you will lead complex, time-critical engagements from scope to delivery. Working with senior executives, investors and M&A teams, you will connect technology, data and AI priorities with transaction logic, business value creation and long-term competitive advantage.

  • Leading IT and technology due diligence engagements and communicating decision-relevant insights to senior stakeholders.

  • Directing carve-out, separation and integration programmes, including TSA strategy, Day 1 readiness and governance.

  • Shaping AI-enabled operating model transformation and technology-led growth initiatives across AI, data, cloud, digital platforms, applications and ERP.

  • Managing engagement scope, delivery and risks while coaching consultants and building an inclusive, high-performing team.

Skills and attributes for success

  • A relevant master's degree in business, economics, engineering, technology or a comparable field.

  • Strong experience leading strategy or management consulting engagements, transaction advisory or complex technology-enabled change, and managing client relationships and multidisciplinary teams.

  • The versatility to operate in both a CDO context (digital, data and AI) and a more traditional CIO context (core IT, ERP and infrastructure), connecting technology choices to financial, operational and strategic outcomes.

  • Clear executive communication skills and fluency in English.

Ideally, you will also have

  • Experience supporting business development, proposals and account growth.

  • Experience working with private equity investors or corporate M&A functions in the Nordics, plus a Nordic language.

What we offer you

  • Complex, high-impact engagements with leading Nordic and international clients in transaction environments.

  • A collaborative, inclusive and entrepreneurial team culture with strong opportunities to learn and grow.

  • Modern offices in central Stockholm and Gothenburg, with flexible ways of working.
