As a member of staff within the Strategy and Transaction`s team, you will participate in due diligence and other engagements related to transactions involving private equity investor groups and strategic corporate buyers. You’ll prepare analyses of historical and pro forma financial information to assess trends and fluctuations that may impact cash flow requirements and deal valuation. You’ll make technical contributions to valuation client engagements and internal projects. You’ll gain a thorough understanding of the target business and its market, and of clients’ issues, performing research of the target’s industry and of quoted companies operating in that sector. Your duties will also include, keeping the senior, manager and senior manager and partner abreast of progress and of any significant issues. You’ll be involved in drafting written file notes, letters, reports and contributing to the presentations of our work and findings to the client. Within your role, you’ll obtain regular feedback on a timely basis and be alert to learning and development opportunities. You’ll work effectively as a team member by demonstrating your commitment to quality, sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication and updating senior team members on progress.

Responsibilities:
• Perform industry and company research utilizing online tools and publicly available information
• Participate in different engagements - valuation, business modelling, M&A, due diligence
• Assist in preparing reports and schedules that will be delivered to clients and other parties
• Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel
• Contribute to people initiatives
• Maintain an educational program to develop personal skills on an ongoing basis
• Understand and follow workplace policies and procedures
• Build strong internal relationships with members of the Strategy and Transaction Team and other EY services

Requirements:
• Strong academic record – bachelor or master degree in Finance, Business management, Economics, etc.
• 1-2 years previous relevant experience
• Excellent analytical and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work well within a team
• Effective written and verbal communication in both Bulgarian and English language
• Strong work initiative and the ability to adapt to new challenges and ideas
