The opportunity
Our Regional Shared Service Center (RSS) is built to provide outstanding services to entire EY operations across the Europe Central region (33 countries), enabling them to deliver on their corporate strategy, achieve cost and performance efficiencies, help streamline regional and global functions and identify and capture growth opportunities for the future.
We are currently seeking to hire a Reporting Specialist with focus on financial data.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze regional company data related to finance.
- Support other teams with data analysis requests.
- Create and distribute comprehensive reports with financial data for various regional and local departments.
- Maintain and regularly update the regional reporting suite across functions.
- Monitor and enhance the quality of reports.
- Serve as the primary liaison and coordinator for designated reporting activities, ensuring streamlined communication and task execution.
- Collect and analyze business needs from stakeholders to inform report criteria and content.
- Identify and resolve inconsistencies in financial reports, proactively implement measures to mitigate future discrepancies.
- Provide regular updates on reporting status and escalate potential challenges to Regional team.
Skills and attributes for success:
- 2 – 3 years of relevant experience in data analysis and reporting.
- Intermediate practical skills in Power BI.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and data manipulation.
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Attention to detail.
- Practical experience with platforms, such as SAP, Tableau or other ERP systems.
- Ability to create dashboards and visual reports that communicate trends and findings.
- Ability to translate complex data into clear, concise reports and presentations for non-technical stakeholders.
Ideally, you will also have:
- SQL reporting knowledge.
- Experience in Regional/Global Shared Services.
- Good communication skills.
- Education in a finance-related area
