EY, a global leader in Assurance, Tax, Strategy and Transactions, and Law services, is looking for a Junior Forensics Consultant in our Assurance Department  


Job purpose:
As a member of the Assurance team, you will work on various forensic engagements in different industry sectors. 


To qualify, candidates should have: 
-    University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics supported by subjects like Statistics, Computer Science, etc.
-    Proficiency in Excel and/or other data management, analysis and reporting tools 
-    Ability to read, assimilate, process information from documentation and other sources and then be able to perform analysis, draw conclusions and drafting reports
-    Some experience in analysis of large data sets and developing reports and perform statistical analyses would be considered as an advantage
-    1-2 years’ experience in an international audit firm and knowledge of basic accounting principles would be preferred
-    The candidate must be available to travel locally and internationally 
-    Excellent communication skills. Excellent written and spoken knowledge of English is required
-    Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
-    Knowledge of another language (e.g., German) would be an advantage

 

Your client responsibilities:
-    Participate in compliance and investigation projects
-    Support preparation of meetings with key clients, participates in meetings and prepares minutes
-    Assist in the preparation of reports and plans that will be provided to customers and third parties
-    Keep senior management informed about the progress of the tasks
