Financial Advisory Experienced Consultant/Manager

EY Bulgaria is looking for an Experienced Consultant/Manager to join our FAAS (Financial accounting advisory services) team which provides our clients an independent view of their organization’s business risks and areas of improvement. Consultants joining our team will enjoy opportunities to serve diverse portfolio of engagements across multiple practices from the private sector as well as projects in the public sector.

As an experienced consultant, you will be:

• Consulting with clients on different complex accounting issues
• Collaborating with partners, managers, senior managers, and clients to influence strategy, balancing risk, and client expectations
• Ensuring our Engagement team thoroughly understands our clients’ unique needs, ambitions, and expectations
• Building relationships with colleagues across multiple service lines to provide seamlessly  integrated service
• Managing performance and identifying opportunities to improve our products and processes

Minimum requirements for the role:

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Business Management or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience. Alternatively, we will accept a Master’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or related field and 4 years of work experience.

Must have at least 3 years of recent experience in the planning, execution, and reporting of audits for financial statements prepared in accordance with IFRS and local GAAP; OR

3 years of recent experience in providing financial reporting advisory services with emphasis over internal audit, risk identification, assessment and mitigation, finance transformation/optimization, internal control system and process improvement and optimization for multinational and local clients.
